I am about to get my license and would love to be able to offer brides these toppers along with the cake. If there is anyone out there who would be willing to share how they make them I would really appreciate it. Here is a link to what I would like to do.

http://www.sugarcreations.com/about.htm (then click on Swarovski)

Thanks.

Why don't you get yourself a jewelry-making book...it's very easy and fun to bead jewelry. All you need is some wire and a couple of tools...Michael's carries all of that stuff. Then you can use them for your cakes, take deposits for them and offer them to the brides for sale if they want to keep them. There are hundreds of jewelry supply stores online...especially on Ebay.

One of those initial monograms might take a whole 3 minutes to make.

Have fun!

That website belongs to a cakecentral member! She does beautiful cakes doesn't she? And those monograms are so stunning. I love them!

Anyway, "cakebaker" is the creator of those swarovski monograms.

Maybe we could all ask nicely for a tutorial or some hints about designing them......

I'll start.
