Question About Rolled Buttercream Fondant

I"ve never tried Rolled Buttercream Fondant but would like to after having read all of the forum posts on it. Do you use a layer of bc under it the way you do with other fondants? Any hints about using it???

I have never used RBC on cakes, just cookies and I put 1/2 t. orange extract as the flavoring...very good!
