Now that I have made my cake I don't know what to do. I want to make another cake but that would be pointless. It'll take forever to eat the one I just made.

the people at work and at church get my practice cakes.

(lutherans absolutely MUST have Kaffe and Kuchen after service....och gott, it would be a sin not too icon_lol.gif )

(and my fellow teachers demolish my cakes....have to make 3 (1/lunch pd) and hide them to be sure everyone gets a chance otherwise 1st lunch eats it all!)

so far no complaints except for "so, when's the next cake coming!!!!?!?!?"

Yeah I could take them to work!!! But I still need to find a fluffy and moist cake recipe. Don't want to be giving them cornbread cakes icon_sad.gif

Susan,

I made the Dream Cake last weekend. It was really good. The recipe is on the Dream Whip Box.

I send cakes to work with DH. The employees and customers eat them. Sometimes I give them to friends, family or neighbors.

BTW -- I have no "down-time". I have to make time to do my cakes and it always seems like I'm rushed to get them finished! I would love to have an AAH Day! (Alone At Home Day)

When I'm doing a cake, my kitchen is like a three-ring circus! kids, DH, phones ringing, tvs blasting, doorbell ringing. I'm usually a nervous wreck and thinking I'll never do another cake, then...

as I'm drifting off to sleep, I'm planning the next one!! I know I have it bad b/c when I watch cartoons with my son, I'm turning cartoon characters into cakes! It's just a matter of finding the time to do them.

"Cakes are expressions of the heart." I find this to be very true!

Each cake I make is also a learning experience, I just wish they weren't so far apart, since lately I've only been making birthday/celebration cakes for my family! Janice
