cookie bouquets with the characters but not the cakes?

Yesterday I was looking at the cookie bouquets and they had Disney, Winnie the Pooh, etc. characters on the cookies...at high prices icon_lol.gif

I don't think this is fair to cake decorators, rules should apply to all icon_cry.gif

Can someone explain this, am I missing something? icon_rolleyes.gif

Inquiring mind would like to know thumbs_up.gif

If you are referring to Cookies by Design or it's sister shops, I think they have some sort of licensing agreement. I can't imagine a company as big and visible as that one getting away with reproducing these characters illegally. That's just a guess on my part though.

I agree about the licensing, but I have to say, from the cookies that were given to me, (why do people insist on giving us sweets/baked goods, when we do it for a living?), I wasn't impresed with them at all.

Just my opinion.

They have a licensing agreement is why they can. They are a big company and can afford it. : )

I have heard they aren't very tasty to actually eat though.
