I just got Toba Garrett's Well Decorated Cake book for Christmas and I was really surprised to see her section on loopy bows and using the wire to hold the loops and sticking them all in a ball of fondant. Interesting way?!

I was wondering for those of you who have tried this---is this easier than say the way that's in the tutorial here on CC??? Is it as easy as it looks in the book (yeah right! icon_rolleyes.gif)

Thanks!!

I liked the cake central way better, but Syliva Winestock's loop bow is the easiest.

I have an order for a bridal shower cake this weekend that I am going to make as a gift box. I will be making a bow. Where would I find Syliva Winestock's instructions.

I want to read both instructions. I also have Collette Peters instructions I will be reviewing.

Don't you just love Toba Garretts book. I LOVE HER. I saw her on Emeril one night about 6 months ago. I would love to sit under her instruction.

The Sylvia Winestock instructions are in her book "Sweet Celebrations" I got it off Amazon.com for about 9.00 or so...
The book as some wonderful cake Ideas with instructions easy to follow.
