My husband and I would like to start a cake decorating hobby. I would also like to do the cookie bouquets. Is there anyone out there that does both maybe as a hobby or small side business? I would like to know what are the most important tools for the cookie bouquets. Also, if anyone has good recipes for the cookies and a price matrix for either one could you PLEASE e-mail it to me?....I'm not sure how much cookie bouquets cost. They are nt really popular in my area yet, so I would like to bring attention to them....Any info would be great. ~Melissa Chaney~

You sure have a good market where you are if cookie bouquets are not so well known in your area....

Try checking out this huge company called "Cookies By Design". You could probably get ideas from them... http://www.cookiesbydesign.com/

On pricing, they are a bit expensive because of their designs and the size of the cookies...

Maybe Antonia can help you with pricing...

I am more of a cake decorating person... Do it as hobby/side business but not official business... Its just that sometimes people order and I make cakes for them, but nothing big..

I don't actually sell bouquets...just individual cookies in bags.

My pricing is $1 per inch, fully decorated. So a 4" heart is $4.00, for example.
