Hard to bake good cookies on dark pans.

Why not bake on a normal baking pan and decorate?

I agree--baking is best done on shiny pans. It looks like it would be a whole lot easier to roll and cut the farm animal shapes than to try and manipulate the dough into the forms. This looks like it would be more for cornbread or something.
