I just got asked to make various cakes for a birthday dinner to accomadate 150 people. FUN! no really Im looking forward to it.
My question is, do you guys ever charge to deliver the cakes?
I always charge if people want their cakes delivered unless its only 2 minutes down the road. I sell my cakes on ebay so people are already getting a cheap cake so I figure they can pay for delivery or pick it up themselves.

HOW INTERESTING!!!!
how on earth do you sell cakes on ebay????
i never heard of such a thing!
I noticed other people had them on there and there were none in my area so I just put some pics on. Have had a bit of interest so far. Here's the link to one of them.

Delivery is included in the price of my wedding cakes. I don't do many birthday or smaller cakes, except for commercial clients, and those I deliver. If I ever would do a smaller birthday cake, it's picked up by the client.
under $60-they pick up
$61-$200 I charge $10 to deliver and set up (no one ever minds, they dont have to worry about dropping it)
over $201+ includes delivery and set up
this has worked out well for me...
my price includes delivery and set up. i feel more comfortable knowing they got there safely.
