Ok, I am back for more questions!

When packaging them, I was wondering what kind of poly bags to use. I am doing a baby shower in a few months and am stealing Fraggle's idea about the baby stuff on top!! icon_smile.gif Should be flattered right?!? Anyway, they will be favors included in a small pink take out box with a couple of other small items. I want to put 2 or 3 of the cookies in the bag, what size bags would I use.

I had another question but it has slipped my mind now! I will think of it later!

Thank you to EVERYONE!

A plain, molded Oreo is about 2" x 3/4 inch. If you add on another candy top to it, it'll be a little taller. I use the small cello bags and individually wrap them. I have no extras from all the Valentine's orders so I can't tell you the exact size, but they are small enough to hold only one cookie, with or without an extra topper. They're maybe 3"x4"? You can get 100 of them at our Walmart for pretty cheap (in the wedding section).

Anyway, if you didn't want to do them individually, you can use the 4"x6" for 2 and cut off the extra. Just a thought..

Thanks! That is kind of what I was thinking too. I am actually planning on doing them side by side and if a third one is put in there, to do like a triangular shape.

Thank you very much!

Okay, guys, one more question - how far in advance can these be made?
I try to make them within 3 days. If I wrap them individually and put them in baggies and tupperware, I do a week. However, I've found some (just in tupperware) hidden in my pantry that my husband and friends ate after 2 weeks or so and they gave rave reviews. icon_surprised.gif They tasted the same to me, but if people are buying them, I usually make them within 3 days.

This is such a great idea because I have tons of customers always asking me to put the chocolate covered oreos on their cakes as wheels, etc.
I am looking into ordering the molds, but dumbo me can't figure out what mold is suppose to be for the oreos on chocklitmolds.com. I saw the round mold, but it looked to rounded, if that makes any sense. icon_redface.gif Sorry to ask a dumb question, just wondering which mold you are all ordering! TIA!

loveqm - thanks for explaining that. Makes sense now.

countrycakes - the website is www.choklitmolds.com Download the catalog and I believe it says cookie molds. They're after the business type chocolate molds. Theres at least 15 types - plain, heart, tree, bride & groom, etc.

I am so impressed with 3dmolds.com. I ordered my molds on monday and they came TODAY!!!! They also sent along a free mini mold. It was the plain one. After I had placed my order I was wishing that I had ordered that one too. And to my surprise they had sent along a free mini mold and it was the plain mini mold. I will do business with them again for sure!!!!!!!!!!
