I don't know if anyone else saw this ... thought it was absolutely adorable. On Sugar Rush last night, they made Meringue Snowmen. Michel Richard showed how to make them, but as usual there were no recipes. I did a search, and found the link to the Martha Stewart site where there is a full recipe and directions! http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=tvs4942 There is a small picture where you can kind of see them. Thought you guys might be interested.

Thanks for the link Roxy, these are adorable, but I wonder how long they keep because it says serve immediatly
Hmmm ... I know the meringue cookies usually last a little while. I would think that if you don't fill it or put the hat and scarf on, and do that last minute, the snowman itself would last a while. Around my house I wouldn't really have to worry about them lasting very long anyways ... they would probably be gone before I could decorate them.
Hi there,
I made these a couple of years ago (there is a picture in the gallery) and they keep for a couple of days. I kept them in the fridge as they were filled with strawberry cream and chocolate mousse.
Some people here had asked me for directions and I couldn't find the link to MS so, I posted my own steps. Roxy531985, it's great that you posted the link here!!! Hopefully my steps were clear to all of you who got them!
Try them, they are easy and fun to make and everybody loves them!!
Happy holidays,
Laura
The latest issue of Family Circle magazine has even cuter meringue snowmen on the cover. The directions and recipe are in there. Really really cute!!
