Looking For A Phantom Of The Opera Cake Idea

I need to supply a large cake for a holiday Phantom of the Opera Party. Any ideas?
Thanks and Happy Holidays! Lori V.
First thought to come to mind...
...black/white/red theme, I see a very plain sheet or layer cake (your choice)...a black mask and a long stem red rose (real or icing/fondant..the stem could easily be made of fondant)...
...after that I draw a blank...anyone else have an idea?
Okay, this one is a little more obscure. I'm not sure if it is in the original movies or scripts, but it is in the most recently released version. You see this spooky little cymbal crashing monkey toy throughout the whole movie. Here's the link I found it at, (and btw, if you like monkeys, this guy has some really fantastic artwork that is worth a minute to browse!)

I think the monkey one would be amazing... It was in the play also.
Another idea, I'm not entirely sure how I'd go about doing something like this, but the Chandalier crashes down at the end of the first Act of the play (they used it at the end of the movie) and it would be awesome if you could do a cake to resemble the broken chandeliar.
The monkey and the chandeliar are part of what kicks off events for the story, the Vicomte buys the windup monkey and he plays it, then they light the chandeliar with electricity and it rises up and the music starts, taking them back to the past.
I HAD to reply to this as Phantom is my absolute favorite musical of all time. (I know, it's so cliche.) In addition to the wonderful suggestions given above, I had a thought of doing the cake like a stage, with red "curtains" on each side pulled back with gold tassels and trim to reveal a white mask and a red rose tied with a black ribbon.
Also, a candelabra would be cool...maybe a FBCT or one out of fondant. Or quotes from the musical, "listen to the music of the night", for example would be pretty written across the cake with music notes.
Or if you could somehow do a mirror...when Christine first sees the Phantom, it is in her mirror which he takes her through to his home underneath the Paris opera house.
Just thinking out loud, but hope some of these ideas help. Good luck and please post a picture when you're done!
