Has anyone dipped cookie dough like we dip the cake balls? Actual cookie dough not baked cookies
Thanks
..I wouldn't think that would be a good idea since cookie dough shouldn't really be eaten raw! IMHO!

I wonder if you left the egg out how it would be. They make cookie dough ice cream, so there has to be a safe way to make the dough where it can be eating raw.
But "they" have access to chemicals that we don't. Compare the ingredients list on a box of DH with the ingredients list for a scratch cake.
At the very least you'd want to use pasturized eggs, but even so I wouldn't chance it outside of family.
I have a recipe at home called "cookie dough truffles." It's chocolate chip cookie dough dipped in chocolate. It's been a while since I made them, but it seems like it called for almost all the normal cookie dough ingredients except eggs. They are very good but very rich! If you like, I can send you the recipe when I get home.
