I saw on the FamilyFun website the recipe/directions for meringue snowflakes. I was originally going to make royal icing snowflakes for cupcakes. I'm wondering if there would be a problem putting meringue snowflakes on buttercream. Would I have to wait until the morning of to put them on do you think?

I'd put it on the morning to put them on.... I have to think about making royal icing and how everything has to be grease free with it. I'd just be afraid if the meringue absorbed the grease in any way, it'd get soft... I'm not definite on this and maybe others can offer input too icon_smile.gif Love the snowflake too btw!

That was my worry. Maybe I'll try a practice batch and see what happens. Thanks!!
