I just finished making my Christmas mice. They really turned out cute. The only problem was they were "scurrying" all over my pan, and they'll be travelling with me on my 7 hour drive to spend Christmas with my family this weekend. I was worried that they were not going to get to take the trip with me when a light bulb went off...what if I lined my pan with a piece of that non-skid shelf paper. Worked like a charm. My mice are "seat-belted" in and ready to hit the road. Just thought I would share this tip in case someone else was having the same problem. icon_biggrin.gif

Just make sure your little mice don't get too warm. I made some last night and you're right...they are so cute.
Drive carefully,

Great idea. I use an old yoga mat (disinfected of course!)for that same purpose.

I use a large piece in the back of my car for boxed cakes and smaler peices in cookie sheets or whatever container I am trasporting them in.

I don't know what they are either. Can someone please explain? The name is intriguing.

Ok I tried all three links and there weren't any mice there. One was a strawberry cake with almonds and the other was a whte and blue wedding cake.

There are some cuter ones in the Christmas gallery, but here's a photo of the ones that I just made.

Yep..that's them. Thank you for posting the picture txboog! They were a lot of fun to make. The only problem I had was my cherries were on the small side and I had to dip them twice so they would be bigger.
