Hi,

I did a 21st birthday cake for a client. It was actually for her sister who was turning 21. It was just a plain sheet cake with an edible image but it turned out really nice. When she picked it up she was so thrilled she just hugged me and had tears in her eyes. This is the first time a client was so happy and it really made me feel good.

I'm so happy now that I just had to share this with others who would understand.

I recently made a wedding cake for a person at work, no one that I knew, just someone that had heard i made cakes. After they came back from their honeymoon i heard nothing from them, and i thought they were not happy with the cake. They got a 2 tier hexagonal cake, with painted hearts and a character bride and groom customised to what they would be wearing on the day. After a public holiday, i get to work, and find a card on my desk, they had made me this really nice card, with pictures of them and the card. It was so lovely. No other customer had ever done anything like that before.

I have had this happen to me and it is a very good feeling that stays with you for a long time.

Very seldom that we get such emotions for a cake.
