my want to do list:

the 3D ballet dancer... with lots of ruffles ( there is an event coming up where it would be appropriate but not until May) patience, patience!

my next one would be a big wedding cake which will also be in May if my neighbor's daughter decides to let me make it for her. Her mom asked but I haven't talked to the bride in person yet. Crossing my fingers icon_biggrin.gif

After that I'd be willing to try any of the wonderful cakes posted on CC.

I would like to do a purse, tiara on a pillow, castle, dog, helmet, anything 3-D, but with a full time job, and very little extra time it is tough.

The one I want to do the most is a crooked whimsey cake. I am thinking about trying one for our New Year's Eve party...but am nervous about wasting a lot of cake if it does not work! icon_smile.gif

I would love to make a wedding cake, but am not ready for that yet.

I also would like to make something that would just wow everyone ...

but first and foremost -- i want to redo my cakes for Wilton Class 3. Unfortunately, i chose a time to take the class when things in my life were very very hectic and i wasnt' able to devote enough time to them.

I want to do a pillow with a tiara, one of those princess cakes where the barbie sticks out of the top of the dress, a purse cake, any thing to try sculpting. And a million other things. And I'd love to learn how to make gumpaste flowers.

(1) Mad Hatter Cake a la Colette Peters (2) Pillow Cake a la Colette Peters, and (3) an architectural type cake like Margaret Baraum is noted for.
