O my what a week.
My sister is the director at a local daycare and asked me to do 3 sheet cakes for the holiday parties at her and another center. All due on 3 diff days.

I was *severely* under paid (24$ a piece, but it *WAS* kind of a favor) and I now know that I HATE sheet cakes.
My youngest started getting sick.....

Sheet cake #2 was mostly decorated with one hand, and sheet cake #3 was thrown together in an hour, decorated one handed while I was souped up on Sudafed(cuz now I am sick ) O yeah and I was also watching my 2 yo nepew.

My house looks like a bomb went off.

I only took a pic of the last cake....it was the only one I was sort of happy with.

I am glad this week is over.

I'm so with you except that my week isn't over...we're having a Christmas party tomorrow night, THEN I can relax!!!

Try to enjoy your weekend---or at least take care of yourself and get better!!

Hope your feeling better now. I know what you mean I have been baking all week and not feeling well. My cakes turned out pretty cute. However, I forgot to take pictures of them. I was so upset but, hey what can we do. I am sure your sister appreciated all your help. Happy Holidays!

I think we have all had days like that. We take on orders with all these great ideas...then somehow things seem to fall apart when it is time to make them! Once you start feeling better you can start fresh again. Sometimes a good break can inspire some really good decorating!
