i just want to say thank you guys for all your advice you've given on this awsome site!!! after being a member for awhile, i finally started charging a more fair price for my cakes...now i actually make a profit. haha
anyway, my dh hurt his back at work recently, so he isnt getting the checks that he normally would....(between workmans comp at first, than limited job ability he's not doing any overtime) so christmas would be bleak, if i had not gotten to use my skills to sell cakes, cookies, pumpkin rolls and apple pies this season. with my baking money i am going to buy the kids christmas presents!!! now, there not getting the ride on moterized vehicles they saw and admired, but they're getting some good stuff.
anyway, i guess i am patting myself on the back, and telling you guys thank you at the same time. i love this site, and come here several times a day, and spend hours just looking at your cake pictures...getting my creative juices flowing. anyway i appreciate the way everyone helps each other out, and how we all have the same passion.
