Just a question of curiosity: What is the cake size you make most often?
My most requested size is the 8" round, double layer, torted and filled.
Mine is the 11x15 sheet cakes...do alot of character cakes
I wish that I could get more adult cakes...oh well, maybe one of these days
Most people order 9 x 13 sheet cakes for me. If its not that, then its a 12 x 18. For some reason, I don't like doing 12 x 18 because I ALWAYS have problems with them.
I think it would have to be an 11x15. I love doing round stacked cakes...but most people in my area just want a boring old sheet cake!!!
Mine has been a 10 inch x 3inch, torted round cake.
But now im doing mainly wedding cakes and 3d, so it's going to vary from that.

For me it's 1/4 sheet, then 1/2 sheet then carved cakes from both of those sizes.

I would say 1/2 sheet then the 11x15. People here want the boring sheet cakes too.
I am also a fan of the square layer cakes, but no one orders them. Too used to the sheet cakes I guess.
Mine are usually the 12X18 - but here lately I have had several orders for the 9" double layer square ones. (that look like a package with bow). In the spring I do a lot of the teapot cakes.
