I also have a website and am unlicensed. Check with your internet provider to see if you get web space with you internet. I have Charter Communcations and I have a website through them as part of my internet package. My website is mainly for my family and friends but I have added a few pages with pictures of my cakes.

I had a website. Yes, had. I took it down because I just recently closed shop. But thinking about it, I used that website for blogging. Regardless of business, legal or not, you are entitled to own your own website. just be responsible how you're using it.

Again another old post. My question would be is it wise to have a website up these days if you are not legal. Having a website with just your baked goods on it is like advertising.

If you're encouraging people to buy your cakes then I guess yes. But if your purpose is only to blog about your baked goods then no.
