I would love some ideas on what to do for our best friends twin girls who are turning 13 in Feb. I want it to be really special and somewhat grown up but not to seriouse. The main issue is that they dont have much in common other than being twins. One is in to makeup and all that, and the other is not, and one likes horses, the othe Scooby Doo. They dont even like the same colors. I really didnt want to do two cakes, but if I do I would like then to at least somewhat coordinate. Any ideas?

Thanks all!

Well have a twin sister but we are alike. If you were going to do one cake mabe do something simple like stick with a pattern. But what I would do two like 8 or 9 in. cakes and do them in their fav. colors and and make it look like a gift mabe?! For some reason i love that!

What about trying a whimsical topsy-turvy cake and use both of their favorite colors in the decorations? I think those are so neat looking, and very trendy! icon_wink.gif

If you do not want to try the whimsey cake...you could always do a 2 or 3 tier cake and use their favorite colors. You can still make it fun and whimisical even if it is not crooked!

I have really been wanting to try one of these cakes...but seem to always chicken out in the end!!! icon_smile.gif
