Thanks! I feel right at home already! I came across the site while surfing the Wilton site. I live in a tiny town in northern Alberta, Canada and there are no craft supply stores, decorating courses or anything unless I travel 5 hrs to the city...so this place is going to be a big help. I've been self-teaching and 'borrow' most of my ideas from the Wilton yearbooks and change them here and there. I can't wait to try cali4dawn's buttercream transfer!

I agree with you. This is a great site, and what makes it even greater are the members who are so helpfull and share everything. I have the time to go on it only twice a day. In the afternoon when my 21 month old daughter takes a nap, and at night, after I put her down to sleep.
I've learned so much from this site, have never taken any decorating classes, enjoy testing and tasting everything, and am hungry to learn even more ( in case I decide to go into it as a profession later on )

Yes sir, being overseas is not what it is cracked up to be, but I am glad we made it here, in spite of no craft stores, or cake stuff! Can't wait until our return back to the good ole USA 
So flayvurdfun, how long are you over there for? Do you have family in the states that sends you supplies or do you have to make due with what you can find over there? Just curious. Going to Hobby Lobby, Michael's or George's isn't just down the road for me but they're within an hour anyway. Can't imagine being cut off completely.

Yes my mother will send me anything from the states no matter what it is. But since I dont do alot of decorating I get most from wilton, or I hope that BXs carry some things....
We have been here 2 1/2 years... we leave in late July to go to Langley Virginia for a year, and then my husband hopes to retire....not sure where yet but at least I can see the light! 
I can't wait to get around a Hobby Lobby. I have never heard of one until this site. There is so much I am missing being here!!!!
