Other than wet icing, what do you all use to get sanding sugar to stick to your cookies. I like to cover my cookies with a thin layer of MMF and then I use fondant writers to add accents. I want to use some sanding sugars for accenting snowflakes and ornaments and was wondering how to get it to stick without making a batch of royal icing.

Thanks for any help.

You can use a paint brush and corn syrup

I take some meringue powder mixed with a little water and use that as the "paint" then put on the sugar.
