She worked SO hard on this!! It is just an 8" square. The man on it is her daddy and he is dressed in camo for hunting.
The brighter green thing is a moose. (my dh doesn't hunt moose, but who am I to agrue with her creativity!).
There is also a brighter green bird near the top.
The rest of the dark green is grass. I don't think it's half bad considering she is only 5, she did it all (except for the shell border and writing) herself, and she worked on it for 3 hours! lol!
I have a pic of her decorating it--but I think we are still not allowed to post faces? Anyway, here it is.
Thanks for looking!

What a 'sweet' gesture!! (Pardon the pun ) By the time she's 8, she'll have Wilton roses mastered! I'm sure it meant just as much to her that you let her do it as it did to Dad!
No only is the cake GREAT, but a 5 year old with a 3 hour attention span is amazing! Have you taken her to any of the kids classes at Michaels? I bet she'd love the gingerbread house decorating class.
that is so sweet, I have such a soft spot for things like that!!! Too adorbale!!!
My sentiments exactly! I love the homemade things.
so very sweet! And really 3h is amazing. My kids decorate cookies for 20 min and the rest is left for me.
I LOVE IT!!!!!! What a wonderful memory for her, you and DAD. I love making memories like this........

I didn't know they had kid's classes at Michaels!! We are doing a gingerbread house on Saturday morning. I cheated, though, and got one that already had the house pieces together. I have a beautiful mold for a cottage or a victorian house but just don't have the time to get it made.

Very cute, I know how proud you must be.
I think I see an up and coming cake decorator in the making.
