Ladycake if you want your name to blink, take your avatar and a blank image the same size. Drop them into UnFreez and loop them with a frame delay of about 50 or less. Don't forget to make sure the images are in gif format.

Ok I am going to see if I can get it to work today I gave up yesterday but I liked the way the name came out so I just posted that... Thanks to the tips Ijust printed them off so maybe I can get it to work...

No,I was hoping to put a picture from my vacation as my avatar.
I've seen other members with pictures of family and was just curious
how they did it. icon_smile.gif
And also do you know of any sites with animated avatar that will work on this site?

If you have Windows XP or Windows 2000, you can resize your image with Microsoft Photo Editor.
1) Open up the picture with Microsoft Photo Editor- you may have to do this manually by right clicking on the file and choosing Open With..., and then choose Microsoft Photo Editor. Or if you are like my computer, when you double click on the file to open it up, it opens up in Photo Editor by default.
2) Go up to Image (along the top)
3) Choose Resize
4) Then click on the up and down arrows to make the image larger or smaller, click ok.
5) Then go up to File, and choose Save As.. so that your original image stays the same, and then when saving it change the file name so that you know its different from the orginal.
****You can also use this program to crop images.
I have included some examples...

LOL- I think that the honor should go to Lisa since she was the one that posted it first, but if she would like me to put it as a sticky in the How Do I? forum I would be glad to.
That is weird about the imagemagick site, because their home page is showing up fine ( http://www.imagemagick.org/ImageMagick/index.php? )
hmmmmmmm
Well- the program looks like it's freeware so technically you could download it to your pc.

Okay, I went to that site and looked around. However I have no idea what I should do now. I don't know what to download. A tutorial would be great. Better yet, can you just stop by and show me? I'll give you a big piece of cake!! Alright, just kidding anyway..... well not about the cake. I have one waiting to be iced and decorated, just for practice.
Thanks for the help! Ü

I could do that. The only problem might be when it comes to editing the gif frames. I use a program called Photofiltre and not everybody will be using that. What do you think the tutorial should include?
