Powdered Colors In Royal Icing??

Can I use the powdered colors in Royal icing??

I'm bumping myself. I am just curious if the powder will make my icing grainy...Can anyone assist?

Absolutely! They sometimes take a little longer to mix in (just keep beating) but they work fine!
