Thanks to all for the great ideas! I decided to 2D the pirate ship at the last minute-I chickened out. I asked the customer if she happened to have a tiara laying around. She said "Sure-let me go look in the costume trunk". I lucked out there! Anyway, she loved the cake! The next time I make this cake I will have to charge more than I did. It's an 11x15, one layer chocolate, one layer yellow cake with buttercream filling and frosting. The pirate ship is fondant and the sails are wafer paper. I really enjoyed making this cake. icon_biggrin.gif
