Half White And Half Chocolate Cake Recipe?

Does anyone have two good recipes that go nicely together? I need to make one layer white cake and the other chocolate. The problem I have is that I think my chocolate cakes are more moist than my white cakes. My white cakes seem to be a little firmer. Need answers ASAP please. Thanks.
perhaps you could look at using a tres leches milk recipe and drizzling it on the white.....I do it all the time now when I make a cake, it gives it a great taste and its very moist and people rave! I even use it on cupcakes......
