The largest cake I have ever made was for eight, I need some ideas. Please help. The only thing I know is that one person does not like Chocolate and another person doen not like spice cake.

A 2-layer (1 tier) 8" cake should serve 20... make a white cake with a fabulous filling (caramel maybe?)
Check the galleries for pointesettias .... there are some really pretty cakes that are just covered in whit buttercream or fondant, then a pointsettia image is outlined (you can use black crustig BC, but I recommend melted dark choclate instead so the colour doesn't bleed) and filled with red and green piping gel...
Simple, elegant, but stunning!
