I have admired the cake separators like the ones on this site

http://lindyscakes.co.uk/WeddingCakeSeparators.htm

Does anyone know of a supply shop that has these in the states? I would really like to have a couple but I don't want to pay to have it shipped from the UK if I can help it. Thanks!!

I've seen those on cakes before and love them. I have checked a lot of craft stores and have never seen them. Just an idea... someone bought my daughter candle holders for Christmas and they have a large round top and bottom so I think they would work great. The candle holders look just like the pillar on the second cake in.

I checked at Hobby Lobby & Michael's today...no luck...at least where I am. Maybe an online cake deco supplier? Searching, searching..... icon_rolleyes.gif

I bought some candle stick holders like this; they can be very cool. I used one for a display cake. The only problem is that I am not sure how sturdy they are, or how to make them sturdy!
