I think I may have tried it about a yeat ago. It's a completely different texture than the BC that most of use and it didn't come close to bakery frosting either. It was sort of spongey/marshmallowy but tasted good. I did a practice cupcake cake with it. It spread okay excpet the consistency was different so that sort of threw me off. My step-kids really liked it though and I purposely kept it out of the fridge to see if it would change and it didn't.

How was the sweetness compared to regular BC? I was wondering since it uses granulated sugar but it's not cooked like IMBC or anything. It looked intriguing. I may give it a try!?

I just got a recipe very similar to that one this week from my aunt that called for sugar and cornstarch.

I'm definitely going to try the recipes out and see what I come up with.

I did try this recipe and I could not get the grittiness from the sugar out regardless of how much I beat it. thumbsdown.gif

That's what I was wondering...with just using the warm water I thought, is this going to be like trying to stir sugar into a drink??
