well I tride my first fondant cake this weekend. I wanted to see how mmf tasted. I got rave reviews for everyone so learning fondant is something I will go ahead and do. Actually the cake looked real good for a first attempt and done at the last minute. I was so busy but dinner was in the oven so I went for it.

I wanted to thank everyone for the expert advise in this board.

so I guess it is just practice practic practice icon_smile.gif

Congratulations! Is the MMF one you made or something you bought pre-made? Did you post the cake on here somewhere? If so, can you post the link in this forum so we can find it more easily? I'd love to see it! So happy that you got rave reviews and that you were proud of it, too!

I didn't take a picture No time to really decorate it and that was not the part I needed to learn anyway

I made the mmf and did learn a few things when it says knead it means it what a mess I made in my kitchen aid

It was easy to work with even though I had no time to let it rest overnight
