I came across this recipe in one of my cookbooks. I think it would be great for little kids. I'm going to make them for my daughter's classmates Christmas presents. This recipe contains a lot of candy so I'm going to have only about 1/2 or 3/4 cup of candy melts. The directions aren't what the books says, but you can get the drift.

For each set:
1 cup red candy melts
1 cup green candy melts
1 cup white (or any other color) candy melts
1/2 cup crushed peppermints (or any other candy)

Place each color and candy decoration into a plastic bag. I'm going to use disposable piping bags for the candy melts.

Have the parents melt the candy melts in the microwave. Line a pan with parchment paper. Snip a small hole in each bag and let the child squeeze the candy out of the bag. Have the child decorate with a popsicle stick or their fingers. Once the design is set, sprinkle with crushed candy. Let set. Enjoy!
