Okay I need to make a cake for Saturday. Its for a 30th bday and she wants it to be girly - nothing to do with Christmas. She mentioned the colors pink and yellow. I was also thinking pink and brown would be good also. I have a few ideas in my head, but I'm a visual person and sometimes need to see it. I've tried the search on here, but it hasn't been working. If anybody has any pictures of cakes that they have done/seen or any suggestion that would be great.
I'm not using fondant for the cake....I was thinking about doing a bow - that would be the only fondant I use for it. She also wants it to be a round cake for 20 people.

Maybe doing a Cornelli lace in yellow with lots pink roses or vice versa.
Also you could try this one that I found in the gallery if you wanted pink/brown.

Oh, I found this one also. You could change the holly leaves to simple flowers or something else.

Boonenati: Those cakes are gorgeous!! I absolutely love the last one with the basketweave and the roses. Unfortunately, I can not make a rose with buttercream or anything else to save my life. 
My skills in the flower making department leave alot to be desired
