I'm going to make some cake balls with my disaster cake from yesterday (Almond Cake) and dip them in white almond bark, for Baby Shower.
Any ideas for how I can decorate them. The theme is Pooh...

I wonder if you could make them look like honey pots? Dip in yellow and dry on waxed paper. Some of the yellow would settle to the bottom and when you turned them over (after they set), they might look like honey pots. You could then pipe "Honey" on them or maybe just a bee. Or you could make them look like bees.

Thanks Lisa...that is a really good idea. Do I color the almond bark with the powder color or gel. I don't have any candy colors...

It's best to use candy colors but I've used the gels in small amounts...just add a little at a time and go for pastel yellow rather than primary. You could dip in white though and then brush on the yellow powder after the candy has set but while it's still at room temp. When I've done this, the powder sticks to the coating and colors it. I've never added the powders to candy coating/bark before so I'm not sure if it would work/dissolve. Maybe someone else has tried it and can help.

I was just looking through the newest ACD and it shows them using the powders...Yay! It says just melt the candy/bark and add the powder stirring until the color is uniform.
