I have an order for a sheet cake. I was planning on doing one 12x18 in white and then one 12 x18 in chocolate. How do you "connect" them? With icing? Thanks! icon_smile.gif

Are you layering or putting side by side?

They will be side by side. Also, should I use 2 12x18 or 2 11x15?

It's funny we were just debating this the other day. Some people use 12x18 and some use 11x15. The consensus (sp?) was that it depends on your part of the country and how many you need to feed. It was suggested to ask at some local bakeries. Also for me, i'd have to use the 11x15 because that is what I have! icon_lol.gif Here is a link with some great info for you:
