Has anyone ever done this? Put the microwave on the defrost setting, leaving the saran wrap on the cake and tried to defrost them? I need to hurry mine up some and was wondering if anyone has done this before I try it.

I've done it. Just make sure you're doing it for small amounts of time. You don't want to end up putting it in for longer than it has to. The only concern I had was the cake tasting the saran wrap, but no one mentioned anything about it!
