A local cake shop went out of business and they were only open Sat morning selling off a bunch of stuff. So I felt under pressure and didn't have time to think about what to buy.

They had these clear plastic "cake towers" a 5-peice set and I bought them for $30, but I'm really unsure what do with them. I really only wanted the middle section to give height to a cake but had to buy the whole set. They range from one that is about 14" round and only a couple inches high, to the tallest tower is about 2 feet high and can hold a 6-9" cake.

I brought them home and then kinda kicked myself because I thought I didn't really "need" them and what was I going to do with them.

I also got a bit PO'd because I bought luster dust for $2.99 each and when I came home a couple of them were 1/2 to 3/4 used. I couldn't tell until I opened them because the sides had the dust "stuck" to it and they looked full.

Anyways............. any ideas for the towers?

Well, on the dusts, they are usually only filled about 1/2 to 2/3 so these likely were not used, that is just how they are packaged.
Could you take a picture of the towers and post them, not sure what you mean. Do you mean they are the wedding cake stands with the centre core running down the middle?

I wonder if you don't want them all. Try to sell the things you dont want on ebay.

I'll take a picture and post it.

They sorta are shapped like a giant spool of thread. Circles on the end and then tubes in the middle. All clear heavy plastic about 1/4 thick.

Ebay is a good idea, I might have to do that.
