Hi Everyone,

I'm making brownies and using a cookie cutter to cut out little "gingerbread" men (well, maybe i should say "browniebread" men). My little men are looking good, I just don't know what to do with my brownie scraps. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

..that's what I would suggest too! They are cake afterall and would most likely make delicious, moist cake balls or truffles!

nah, I'd just dish myself up a bowl of ice cream, add a few pieces of the brownie here and there along with some choc. syrup...and eat it!
Oh, and a cup of coffee to go along with it... icon_wink.gif

You guys are right...ice cream with brownies sounds great, but wouldn't you know it, I don't have any ice cream. Well, now I'm off to add ice cream to my grocery list for tomorrow.

Crumble them and mix them with thinned buttercream to make a filling for cake.

I did this once and nobody could figure out what I did but they all loved it, LOL! icon_biggrin.gif

I agree with everyone. Get yourself some chocolate ice cream and mix them in. Kind of like the Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard from Dairy Queen. YUM

I like to make brownies the way that works best for me is to put them in a Baking cups and I put a little hershey kiss in the middle after baking !

But my question is what is the best recipe you all might have to get soft brownies to cut with cookies cutters after .

I just would like them to stay soft after to maybe decorate a little .

TIA

Brownie delight cheesecake, now that sounds like Heaven!

I found a good recipe from Paula Deen's show on Foodtv, "Maggie's Decadent Brownies" only I substitute my frosting with Kahlua for hers.

Just thought that I would share that I ended up making brownie balls out of my leftover scraps. I didn't measure anything, but threw together my crumbled brownie crumbs, some chopped pecans, coconut, a little caramel syrup, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs and whiskey (i didn't have any rum). I finished each ball off by rolling it in powdered sugar. They really turned out great! Thanks for the ideas. icon_biggrin.gif
