NEW FEATURE! Attachments in the Forum!

It's finally here!

This was by far the most requested new feature! Especially since we created the "Cake Disasters" Forum. You can now upload photos directly into your forum posts!

Don't use the forum to display your cakes, that's what the photo gallery is for. Here you can upload photos of different techniques, or cake disasters, or what ever fits into your post!

The Rules:
Absolutely NO people's faces.
Absolutely NO copyrighted or protected material.
Absolutely NO adult/pornographic/ inappropriate material. This is a kid safe site and we intend to keep it that way.

Breaking any of the above rules could easily lead to immediate banishment from the site.

If you arent sure, just send us a quick email or Private Message and we'll let you know if its OK.

WRONG thumbsdown.gif
Uploading scanned photos from a book or printed magazine of a Mickey Mouse Cake.

RIGHTthumbs_up.gif
Upload a scanned photo of your own Mickey Mouse cake.

This is very new and there may possibly be some undiscovered bugs. So just post in the this thread, or in the Technical Support Forum and let us know! Thanks and have fun!

I think what Jackie means (correct me if I'm wrong Jackie) is that you can only upload pics that belong to you/cakes that you have done. No photos from books/magazines/other sites. If you made a copyrighted character cake, you can upload the pic. If someone else made it or it came off the web, you can't.

Hi Lisa,

You are correct. If you have purchased a Wilton character cake pan, for example, you can upload a picture of the cake you made. However you cannot upload a picture of someone elses cake, or that cake pan or cake from a book.

Absolutely, just send me a quick Private Message as to which photo in the photo gallery, or in which thread. Include the URL to the photo if you can.

A URL is the internet address so for example, the URL to my photos is:
http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-photos-by-jackie.html

Hi Dawn,

You only need to remove it if his face is in the picture.

Thanks!

Questions why would you have to remove a photo if the person in the photo is related to you .. I can understand if its a bride or some thing like that someone that you dont know ..
