Tool Used To Roll Out Fondant Even??

Just wondering what/if any tool/s you guys use to roll out fondant and cookies to the correct thickness and to keep the dough even??
I place a wooden dowl (the ones you use to stack a cake) on each side and use that as my guide. The rolling pin rolls over the dowls and keeps everything even. it's a great thickness for cookies but probably too think for fondant, but you could get smaller dowls to use as a guide if you wanted it thinner.
Pink bunny if you have a nice fondant rolling pin, you can put 2 thick rubber bands on each end to give you a nice depth for your fondant.
The dowel thing is great for doughs!
