I'm just starting out and new to this site. I've made two cakes for pay, just for friends. But, I'd like to start a small business.
Anyone from NJ or know the laws here?
I don't know other than what I found at my local township. Basically it was a separate kitchen and all the stuff in a commercial kitchen. Some people did say to talk with the state department of agriculture about operating a domestic bakery, but I couldn't find a number of someone to call, and gave up temporarily.
PLEASE let me know what you find out. I would love to be legitimate.
