Does anyone know if you have to bake Magic Line Pans Longer. I need the cooking times for a 6, 9 and 12 in pans. I followed the normal bake times of 30 min for the 6 and 40 for the 9 and its not done yet. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a bunch!! icon_biggrin.gif

Hi Peachstate,

Don't know how much help I will be but I have the 3 inch Magic Line pans and when I bake several at the same time (6,8,10), they take alot longer than what the Wilton Chart says. I also bake them at a lower temp so that may be causing the extra time as well.

Just keep checking for doneness by the cake itself. I very rarely go strictly by time.

Thank you for your help. I keep going increasing in 5-10 minute increments.

One more thing. When you are getting close to being done. Watch it really carefully. I would go to 2 to 3 minutes between checking. I have overcooked several cakes before by just letting it go a little too long.
