My Dh Was Rotflol At Me, Literally!

Argh. So, I'm practicing with fondant and had covered my cakes and yesterday, my DH had went out and bought me an airbrush. Which, BTW was not my idea but his - he can't hide his excitement over this cake decorating stuff from me !
Anyway, I was gung ho with the airbrush and was going to town, got all my cakes colored and the DH comes over, grabs my face with both hands and looks at me very funny, then proceeds to laugh histerically, eventually making it to the floor.
He says: "Did you inhale this stuff? Your nose is bright green inside!" And, not only was it in my nose, but all over my hands, and the ENTIRE kitchen!
That is funny, sorry. Maybe a paint box would be a good idea, sort of contain the overspray a bit. Have a wonderful time playing.
Oh, my! What a sight you must have been! I hope he took a photo of you so you can keep it as inspiration! Seriously, I'm sure he must really love you to run out and buy you an airbrush to play with your cakes. What a guy! He's truly a keeper ... a man who supports your addiction AND keeps you laughing (which, as we all know, is a great way to relieve stress, keep fit, reduce blood pressure and keep you healthy.). May the two of you have many long, happy years together.

Well, that's why we're all on this site! So we can learn from each other!
I'm so glad to learn of the "paint box" (I think I've seen that set up on Duff's show?) so when I get an airbrush, I won't look like a green bean after I'm done with a cake.
You gotta post a pic!!!

Oh, yes. He's so supportive and I love him so much for his enthusiasm. He's absolutely a keeper!
Yeah I was kind of frightened when I blew my nose for the first time after I played with my airbrush!

Does he have an older Brother?
that is so funny! I am jealous of you and your husband. Mine would rather go buy a cake at the supermarket and give it to people so he doesnt have to look at the mess. However he did buy me an airbrush for Christmas....
I havent used it yet because it didnt come with cleaner.....
Happy Decorating!

Nope, sorry! He does have a younger sister to whom I attribute most of his good qualities.

The expensive cleaner they sell you is actually window cleaner
I learned this at an airbrush class at my local cake shop. So just use some window cleaner after use and you will be all set.

I agree! You need a pic for prosperity!
Oh, no - there was no picture taken. I was too busy blowing my nose 18 times to get it all out.
