do you have color samples yet? of the actual shade of those colors?

if they are really bright, how about a topsy turvey?

I was thinking topsy turvy too. Or maybe white fondant with a blue border, (maybe shiny blue ribbon) and orange flower accents. I guess it would depend on the shade of blue and orange the bride is going with.

Tiger lily. Perhaps blue delphinium. Or Poppy. What time of year is the wedding?

I think a dark blue cake with tiger lily or poppy would be beautiful. Then you could always add a subtle accent color in a smaller flower.

yeah, a topsy turvey would depend on how bizarre or traditional the wedding and couple is....

your idea is a bit more toned down and could work in a more traditional setting. icon_smile.gif

maybe white fondant with a very faint blue super pearl dust on some handrolled fondant pearls 9or blue satin ribbon) and some orange and blue flowers. actually orange and blue flowers go really nice together because they really stand out.

If your friend is modern and funky you could go for the design Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore had at their wedding with those colours, like this one Antonia74 did:

It would look fantastic in that colour combination.

How about a topsy turvy that uses a camouflage pattern as one of the patterns? My apologies, I was sent these photos by a client who got them online without being able to credit the bakers/bakeries. If anyone knows who made either cake, please PM me and I will edit this post to credit them:
