I am wanting to get this cupcake holder thing. It looks really neat. At the Bed Bath and Beyond store near me they are selling it for $15 if I am not mistaken and that is a deal compared to buying it online. I was just wondering if what anyone's thoughts were on it.

If it's the metal one, I've seen it online and it looks like a fun stand but I wonder how sturdy it is? Hopefully someone whose used it will let us know.

Have not tried the cake stand but I have the cake holder for the 1/4 sheet and it holds cupcakes and mini cupcakes. I really don't like the cupcake part too well. I wish they would have made the sections a little deeper so that the cupcakes would not turn over.

I bought mine at the Wilton tent sale last spring. It holds 23 cupcakes. I've used it only once, for my daughter's b-day, and I really liked the way the cupcakes looked on it. Michaels also carries it, and I think it's for a smaller number of cupcakes.

Wow, Emi, how awesome for you to live so close to be able to attend their tent sales. The flyers they send me look so fun!

I taught x number of students over the summer (can't remember how many) so Wilton sent me the small one. It's really quite cute! Both of my children with September birthdays opted for cupcakes on the cupcake stand. It worked just fine holding up 23 cupcakes. icon_smile.gif

I have a wedding next summer in which each table will have three tiers of pastries, confections, and petits fours. I think I'll be ordering the small ones for that. I really like the different ways they use them in the 2006 yearbook.

I´ve got the small one and it is really sturdy. I´ve made some cupcake out of plaster for a fair and had no problems with the stand.

There is a small and large stand. The one that holds 23 is that the large of the small? Sorry, I haven't looked at a wilton yearbook in awhile. I think I need to take a look how they use it.

I believe the one that holds 23 cupcakes is the larger one. I think the smaller one holds about 14 or 16. But I could be wrong.

If you're interested in buying one, you can get them at Hobby Lobby or Micheals and use their 40% off coupons.

There are actually three of them. The small holds 13, the middle size holds 23 and the large holds 36(?).

I have the middle size and have plans on buying the smaller when my store gets more of them in. I really like them. The cupcakes holds have a slight tilt to them so you see more of the top of the cupcake rather than the sides.

It's a strudy stand, and pretty too. You can also always add embleshments to it, such as ribbons or such.

I bought the large one. I used it for my nephew's b-day party. It is a pretty sturdy stand. I didn't need all the wholes to be filled with cupcakes so I used crickle paper for decorating gift boxes to fill up the empty wholes. It really added to the setup I think. It is in my pics, if you want to see what I am talking about.

I have the one that holds 23, and I LOVE it. I have used it sooo many times. I would love to get the bigger one.
I haven't seen the smaller one, need to look for that.

There is also an 18 Count stand that I purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond. It is also by Wilton.

I have been unable to find an 18 count at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's or on the Wilton Website.

However, there it was at Bed Bath and Beyond and it was $19.99. I got it with a 20% off coupon.

I am very happy with it. since it's a logical number, that whole 13 or 23 cupcakes annoys the crud out of me... since when do I make 1 over a dozen or 1 short of two???

The stand is very cute though and sturdy. I'm looking forward to using mine more often.

I have the large cupcake stand from Wilton. It holds 38 cupcakes. IMHO it is very sturdy and attractive. I used it for the carebear cupcakes and am using it again on Saturday for the baby cupcakes in the Wilton 2005 yearbook. The carebear cupcakes are in my pics if you would like to see it.

Ok I am sold. I like the idea of the slight tilt so people can see the tops of the cupcakes. I think that feature adds to the presentation. Glad I asked.
