Does anyone have the Pattern Book for the 1981 Wilton Yearbook?
I want to make the "Heavenly Trumpeter" cake. The cake is heart shaped with an angel in the middle and her wings fill the entire top of the cake, very pretty.
Anyway, I can draw it if I have to, but it would be much easier with a pattern.

TIA

Cindy

Gilson6,

Thank you so much for looking. I checked with Wilton and they don't have it either. I guess I'm going to have to free hand draw it. Again, though I really appreciate you taking the time to look for me.

Happy Holidays

Have you thought to check at your local library? They might have it.

Gilson6---No hadn't thought of the library, but I have been there looking for cake decorating books in the past and they had very few to choose from, most all were very dated.

Tilisha--I will check with Sugarcraft, thanks for the suggestion.

Also check ebay. That's where I got all my books. They range from 1980 to 2006. Good Luck!

At sugarcraft.com they will print out the old pattern books for you - just tell them what year you want. Here's the link:

I checked ebay and there is one on there for around 20.00 and the copy from Sugarcraft is around 17.00. That would be cost prohibitive since I want it for a cake order and the cake is not going to be big enough or expensive enough to justify that much.

I'm going to draw it...Thanks all for your help, it just let me know that my artwork is going to have to do.

Also, Gilson6, what would you charge for a 10 inch cake like that? Did you see the picture in the 1981 yearbook, page 46? I was thinking about 40.00.
