My daughter wants a cake a black angus cake with a red 21 ear tag for her b-day.
She has an adopted black angus named Mr. 21, it's on his ear tag, she will be showing this 2 ton bull stud for 4-h..
It's her pet and she loves him so much, he will grow old being pampered like a baby.
Any ideas? I live in a very small town and they don't do the cow cake, the body etc.. only the picture of one on a sheet cake.
My daughter will be nine on saturday and before I have to order something she does not want maybe someone has some ideas??
This is very special for her and I don't want to let her down.
Thank-you..

The only thing I can think of is right now is to make several layers of cake (it would have to be at least 12-15 inches high), freeze them and then use an electric turkey knife to carve the head/bust of the cow...then you could make the tag on his ear with fondant.

sorry couldn't think of anything easier.

couldnt you make the cake and just carve it into the head of the black angus? then use frosting the color of it? I wish I had instructions for you ..... I understand not wanting to let your babies down!

I found a couple of pics for you. They're of cows but you can easily change the colors to what you need. The 3D one was found on a website-no directions and the second on was from FamilyFun. HTH!

There were some cute cow cake ideas on this thread...

The one of the head would work with a tag quite well.

Hope these help !!!
