Do you mean Hot Milk Cake where the milk is scalded and put in at the last? I remember this from a long time ago, I thought it went back to depression times, but I could be wrong.

That could be. Someone asked me about it, but I didn't know the answer. I'll have to ask how/what they know of it.

They could also mean Tres Leches, or three milk cake. Haha, with my other answer I am showing how old some of my cookbooks are, haha!
They are older than I am, at least some of them are, haha!

I use www.recipezaar.com for a lot of my recipes and they have that one. Just search under the name "Milk Cake" and it pulls up quite a few.
