Im very new at cake decorating but I would love to do the cake for my daughters baptism next month. I went to several websites to get ideas and I came across these two that I liked (they are very similar) http://www.jacquespastries.com/alloccasion6.htm and http://www.jacquespastries.com/alloccasion52.htm . Im not trying to make the exact same cake but I would like to know how I can do the dress (either one). I want to try it this weekend.
Socan you guys help me accomplish this? How do I start? What kind of icing should I use? When should I do it? I'm not sure I want to do fondant since I've never tried it before....
